What is Rio360?
Rio360 is a digital platform created for Riosucio, Caldas, designed to connect people with businesses, services, places, experiences and activities that are part of our municipality.
The idea is simple: when someone needs to find a restaurant, a café, a gym, a store, a professional, a service, a place to visit or simply wants to discover something new in Riosucio, they have a starting point.
One place to search, discover and connect with the local.
But Rio360 was not created only to facilitate searches. It also started with a much bigger intention: to help the businesses and ventures of our town have greater presence in the digital world.
An idea that was born in Riosucio
Behind Rio360 we are two brothers, Ricardo León Sánchez and Andrés Felipe León Sánchez, two programmers who, like many Riosucio locals, have a special bond with our town.
We know Riosucio, we grew up here and we know that behind every business there is a story.
There is the person who opened their first shop with great effort. There is the one who turned a skill into a venture. There is the family that has been serving its customers for years. There is the professional who offers their services and often gets new clients solely thanks to recommendations.
And there are also all those businesses that many people still do not know.
That was precisely where we saw an opportunity.
“If we know how to build technology, why not use it to build something that serves our own town?”
The answer was Rio360.
Why “Rio360”?
The name wasn't chosen at random either.
The 360 represents our intention to look at Riosucio from all its angles.
We don't just want to talk about restaurants. We don't just want to show stores. We don't just want to have a directory.
We want to build a space where they can coexist commerce, services, tourism, culture, events, ventures and community.
We want Rio360 to grow together with Riosucio and become, over time, a reference point to discover everything our municipality has to offer.
In short:
360 because we want to cover everything that is part of Riosucio.
We don't want to replace the local. We want to make it more visible.
One of the most important things we want to make clear is that Rio360 was not born to compete with Riosucio's businesses.
It was created to give them a space.
Social media are important and will continue to be. Google is important. Word‑of‑mouth is important. But we believe Riosucio also deserves its own space where its commerce and services can be found.
A place where a person can enter without knowing exactly what they're looking for and end up discovering a new restaurant, a café, a store, a professional or a service they didn't even know existed.
Because many times Shopping locally simply starts by knowing what's nearby.

Today Rio360 starts as a platform to discover businesses and services in Riosucio.
But our vision goes far beyond creating a simple list of establishments.
We want to keep adding new tools that let people interact with businesses, learn their products and services, view information, communicate, place orders and, progressively, do more directly from the platform.
The intention is to build a local digital ecosystem that can grow with the needs of Riosucio.
And for us that means something very important:
